In the winter of 2014, our church had a clothing drive.  Pastor Thurman named it "Coats for Christ".  All of the donations were delivered to local Salvation Army to help the homeless in our city.  We believe that is what we are called to do by Christ.  We thank all of those who participated in the clothing drive and we sincerely hope that it helped those who are in need.

 

When Pastor Thurman dropped off the donations, to his surprise, he was asked if he could be interviewed by a local news station! Here is the news clip:
